Meet the Mastermind Facilitator

Family Business Owner, Entrepreneur, Speaker, Podcast Host and Business Coach, Greg Lewis has inspired family business owners and next generation leaders as they deal with family, business and ownership dynamics as well as transition planning. He enjoys helping family business create a positive environment where the family thrives, their business performs and working together they create a lasting family legacy.

Having joined his father in their family business after graduating from college, Greg learned firsthand the joy and the challenges of working in a family business. Having worked in his family businesses for over 30 years, Greg continues to take his experience in entrepreneurship, leadership, mentoring, and coaching to help business owners just like himself deal with the unique challenges of working together in their family business.

Greg is known as a servant leader. He is continuously seeking knowledge to help him grow as a leader and to help family business owners reach their goals. Greg received coaching training as an executive coach on the Ramsey Solutions EntreLeadership Team. He is a certified leadership trainer with the Ken Blanchard Companies in Situational Leadership II, the most taught leadership model in the world.

Greg is recognized as a Master Mentor at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center where he has been volunteering since 2011 to help entrepreneurs turn their ideas into reality. As the host of Family Business Today podcast, Greg interviews prominent local and national family business owners.  He also talks to top family business experts to discuss relevant topics including communications, business culture, family relationships, succession and estate planning, values as well as conflict resolution. The podcast can be heard on Apple Podcast, Spotify, Google Play and wherever you listen to podcast.

Greg is a frequent speaker and workshop presenter on family business and transition planning to business associations, universities, chamber of commerce, and clubs. He received his degree from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and holds leadership certifications from Keller Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and the Center for Association Leadership in Washington, DC.

Greg lives in Maury County, Tennessee with his wife and business partner, Jennifer, and their golden retriever, Giggles. He has three daughters and a great son-in-law and two grandsons. He is Past President of the Franklin Rotary at Breakfast and current Board Member Columbia Breakfast Rotary. As a Certified Kansas City Barbeque Society Judge, he judged the Jack Daniel’s World Championship Barbeque Contest in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Greg loves being outdoors, gardening, travel, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
